Community Hall

The Casuarina Wellard Community Hall was built with the help of many local residents after first building the adjacent fire station. The project started in 1990 and finally finished in late 1993, officially opened by Norm Marlborough MLA on 27th November 1993. The Fire Station and Community Hall buildings are representative of the community’s spirit, having invested significant time, energy and money to establish what is the heart of Casuarina and Wellard East.

Situated behind the community hall and fire station, the grass oval is not available for regular hire unless for special full day events. Where a community event is to be scheduled that occupies the oval, notice to the community will be provided on the Casuarina Wellard Community Hall notice board and website. At all other times the oval is available and freely accessible to local residents.

Please be aware this is a multi-use area, the Kwinana South Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade regularly conduct exercises on the oval.
